Six C's of continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) leadership development

本篇文章是從管理之角度探討長期退休照顧社區(Continuing Care Retirement Communities，簡稱為CCRCs)的管理者所需的領導能力。研究者對347個CCRCs的管理者發放問卷，共回收118份。其中多數具有碩士學歷且是在非營利性的CCRCs工作。 作者列出了六個知識、技巧與能力(knowledge, skills, and abilities，簡稱為KSA)供受訪者排序；其中最受重視的三項乃是：「組織技術」、「經營管理」和「人際關係與溝通技巧」。再根據對25個KSA項目的評量，作者歸納出了管理CCRCs的六個C(Six C's)：消費者服務、變革管理(change management)、創造力(creativity)、管控/運作(controlling/operations)、指導/發展計劃(coaching/mentoring/succession planning)、溝通/人際關係技巧(communication/ interpersonal skills)、客戶服務(customer service)。
